Oh! My Own Sandwich!

Ok! This last two weeks I've been terrified by my schedule.. 1st: Mang Niel is out of town to do his job. 2nd: schedule of blending the whole are always 2 batches each day so I need to work doubles. And 3rd: the weather always unpredictable there days and I hate it! And there's only one thing in my mind these days "food" Hahaha! Especially hot bread with very good filling. 

And now lucky I've been in appliance store, I bought this small pretty little thing!

Yeah! You see it right a sandwich maker! I fell in love with it ever since and I don't know why I couldn't buy it before and I think This is always right time for everything haha! ( I always have that instincts.) 

So, I made some sandwich to comfort my self from being so much tired.

I made egg-pineapple crush spread,

the ingredients are: eggs, pineapple crush,mayo,cucumber,salt and pepper.

Its so delicious and I couldn't resist to bite it.

How to cook Ginisang Ampalaya (sauteed bitter gourd)

I really miss our home, its exactly two weeks since the last time I've been there, and what I missed the most is cooking for my mother, I so much missed her :) every weekend kasi my duty is in kitchen.

So for now I would like to share one of my specialty, not everyone can do this :) how to make sauteed bitter gourd, what's really special on this menu is how to lessen the bitterness of this dish, because most people knows how to cook this but you'll notice its taste its different.

First, prepare the ingredient:

1 meduim size onion (cut into pieces)

2 cloves of garlic (cut into pieces)

2 meduim size eggs 

2 meduim size tomato (cut into pieces)

2 big ampalaya ( Bitter gourd)

spices

The next thing that I did is to beat the eggs, put salt and pepper and scrambled it first. Tips: I'll do this to preserve the neatness of the dish you'll see it later :)

After scrambled egg, on same pan, sauteed garlic, onion and tomato.

Then, put bitter gourd, As you notice I do not add meat, because my mother is a diabetic person so as much as possible we have to less meat on every dish, that we use to cook. Also by not putting of meat we are able to taste and smell the real aroma of bitter gourd.

Next, add the bitter gourd to the pan.

then, add salt and pepper or any spices you want. Simmer for at least 2 minutes before mixing ( that's the secret of the and less bitterness of this dish). After 2 minutes mixed it with the sauteed ingredients

Turn off the heat, then add the scrambled egg and mix, and serve.

CR Home make over!

Hi guys! Lost in action ako this past 2 weeks, well aside from having cough and colds I did something that is worth hehe :) I did make over of my CR

Because I visited tile warehouse last time I decided to tiled our CR. 

At first I was afraid of the color that I choose because it might look dark and mother wont appreciate. For her kasi as much as possible all bright colors only.

Since my cousin is a carpenter he did the job :)

I'm so happy with the outcome its super light and looks wider :)

I Found you my Sole mate!

Yesterday, I was in mall canvassing gift for my cousin in law which is going to have 18th birthday this coming week end, and I'm part of the eighteen - 18 (18 footwear). My first stop is Payless but i'm not satisfied with their design, so I go to dept store to which they have a lot of design to choose of. 

At first I'm just thinking about the gift but suddenly I found myself fitting shoes for my own! Haha! (That's the effect of going to mall alone, making gastos!) I found this shoes! SOLE MATE.

It's very comfy to wear and also a budget friendly it only cost P399. Pasok sa bracket. Fact about me guys, I always set myself a limit when it comes to shopping hobbit P500 per item or below . More than that I found it pricey, the only reason I exceed to that bracket "once in a bluemoon" is special occasion, as in very special hehe.. like wedding or business meeting to attend, which I choose carefully of what I wear.

So here it goes..

When I was in college actually I always wear ballet shoes (SOLE MATE) it is also mura and until now I see those P399 for 2 pairs :)

BTW I bought Mecaela flats for Joanna 18th birthday and for Jade 1st birthday I go to Toy Kingdom and bought some building blocks for Age 1+

MEET my new buddy:Petroleum Jelly

Last few days I have suffer itchy's anywhere in my body, mostly in my belt area and it causes my skin to have minor scrape. And I think its because of the weather, and I need to have other way to soothe  it. I remember before when I was young every time I had experience that kinda thing my ate give me petroleum jelly, so I texted my sister and ask if she can buy one.

She bought me one 25g  :) plus I also read from wiki that petroleum jelly helps thicken the lashes, Remember last month I had my lashes extension, I decide to remove it because some of the lashes fall and it doesn't look nice at all and the bad things happen some of my original lashes also remove and now it looks so thin and almost nothing..Yah! at first it is beautiful to have extension  but once they get fall apart you'll realize the consequence of it :(

I put some petroleum jelly on my lashes at night and will observe it for a couple of days and see it it'll be thicken as wiki says :D 

I also notice that my feet gets rough maybe because of wearing safety shoes everyday.. What I do is put some petroleum jelly on my feet and massage it for 2 minutes. As it says at the back of their packaging that it also soothe chapped skin :)

My feet doesn't look perfect haha! Actually it feels good as I observe it this morning when I woke up it's so malambot there's no roughness feeling in it hehehe :) very nice idea!

HAPPY! Watsons Super saver sale!

For us girls it so important to look nice and fresh all the time. And we have to take cake of our body and invest in good things. That's why I choose Watsons essentials, they never disappoint me it always make me feel great after using it. Since my hair essential are also almost out of stock I decided to pick one, I choose hair Wax because I haven't tried it before. So its my first time using it and I love the smell so mabango Yes! It's like I'm pouring milk on my hair(hehe). As I said Watsons products never disappoint me :)

Having make up while working under the sun is not a good idea at all. It's so hard for me to be girly while most of my workmates are boys :') that is why in my Gerlie life beyond work I give my self time to reflect girly stuff to my name :) haha! 

Here's a review of some cosmetics I did use when I'm out of work or even I'm at office.

I bought it for only P100 at Watsons, it is also available in all other location nationwide ( Department store, Supermarket, and Drugstore ) its so sulit! I'm lucky to have a thick brows and the only thing that I need to do is to make it a modern dramatic look.

Careline Lippie 



I think it cost less than P100! Whoaaa! I love the color, actually before pa ako naghahanap ng lippie I think perfect for me for my moods and I finally found it! Careline lippie Prom Queen I so love it! It smells like candy and it has matte effect to my lips. I do love collecting lippies I have different brands and shades but this one make me fall in love I always wear it!

Nichido Bare Basic Palette



It was so perfect for my natural look make up, I forgot how much it is but I'm sure its a budget friendly make up it has 4 brow shades for a natural look effect and has du-o blush on! A perfect for modern classic look that every woman can wear. (Got it from the back of the palette.)

How to look fresh all day!

Hot summer days outside but doesn't mean you have to hold back your schedule for the day! Looking fresh and smelling good everyday is very important in every one of us, we meet people encounter different things as we go through the day. here are the thing that makes you look fresh all day long!

1. TAKING A BATH. It is very important to start the day fresh by cleansing your body, Using shower gel, bathe cream or not so harsh soap will totally feel fresh all day long.

2. USE DEODORANT. Base on the study 2% of our population doesn't have the gene that cause body odor. They're lucky right?  But as for the rest of us we use deodorant to prevent body odor, apply it after shower, in my case I let my body dry first after shower/bathing before I apply deodorant for me to avoid mixing of deodorant and lil water in my underarm after bath for me its a better way to keep fresh all day.

TIP: I have this kinda mannerism, putting of tissue in my underarm to prevent perspiration and wetness of my shirt! (HAHA!) some says its funny but it really recommendable :D

3. ALWAYS HAVE SMALL TOWEL. Always and always have towel on your bag or just put it at your back, so that if you go outside and get wet towel is the best for absorbing sweat.

4. CLEAN TEETH. Having bad breath and food in your teeth make you feel not fresh and no way to look clean, be sure to brush your teeth every morning and night before you go to bed but do not brush your teeth too harsh it may harm to your gum, also floss is always on my bag. You can also use mouth wash everyday.

5.  KEEP HAIR CLEAN. As you go through the day you will notice that your hair may get dull always brush your hair every now and then, hair is important part of our physical appearance neat and tidy hair can make you look fresh all day :)

6. KEEP FACE CLEAN AND MOISTURIZE. Always keep our face clean and tidy through the day,moisturize it with water base moisturizer to make you feel light all day long.

7. LESS IS MORE. Less is more important to look fresh all the day, wear less make up or just your favorite lippie or gloss. or Just your SMILE :) and you will look clean, fresh and awake all day long!

Night of Appreciation: La finca Tagaytay

Last Tuesday, I attended dinner together with my bosses as part of our 13 years Goal Zero. The highlight of our dinner was the awarding of plaque: Plaque of Appreciation of being part of the business for 13th years and our main goal is to have zero incidents/accidents.

La finca is a perfect place to chill out, the restaurant is not so big and has a touch of modern interior and over looking Taal volcano and it's very cozy place. If you want to have a simple and quiet dinner La finca is one of the best place in Tagaytay it is part of Domicillo Hotel.

My call time with boss was 4:30pm and he decide to pick me up at SM hypermarket Batangas its not my so lucky day, traffic is a killer I'm late and boss get a bit pissed off haha! But he also very patient and wait for me. I got there by 4:55pm :( we took a route via Talisay road its a high and risky road but you will appreciate the view the whole Taal lake. When were almost at the pick boss found a perfect spot so I can have photos and selfies haha! Bait no?


Sorry for my bump face haha!

Were very fast as in, think about it my driver is a International racer haha! We travel from Batangas to Tagaytay and we took only 1.5 hours imagine :D Since we are early birds I had a time to take photos and selfies hahah!


After taking photo,another guest has arrive, a contractor from Mindanao, Transpecial so we introduce each other and after some chatting the whole team just arrive and the program started..

The food definitely did not disappoint-- champion! So Butch owner of La finca discuss the details of the food.
